Modern Kids Design was founded by Yvonne Hopkins, a dedicated green lifestyle enthusiast, blogger and mom. Yvonne had a hard time finding beautifully designed natural and eco-friendly products for kids in different age groups. After speaking to other parents, she learned she wasn’t alone, and Modern Kids Design was born.

Beautiful objects in our home environment help us feel better about ourselves and we want our kids to feel good about themselves too! We search for children and teen products with a modern design aesthetic and a touch of whimsy. Once we find a great piece of furniture or learning toy, we take special care to make sure each product is made in a socially responsible and environmentally friendly way. Fortunately, there are more and more amazing producers out there and we are excited to introduce many of them soon.
